NEW Restrictions on Personal Mobile Devices
Last spring, the Ontario government put in place new restrictions on personal mobile devices in schools.
Starting September 3, the following restrictions will be in place at Earl of March:
Grades 7 and 8
Personal mobile devices are not allowed to be used during the school day. The minimum requirement for students in grade 7&8 is to not have access during instructional time. However, we will be continuing with our policy from last year where students will be required to leave their mobile device in their bag or locker for the duration of the school day.
Grades 9 to 12
Personal mobile devices are not allowed to be used during class instructional time. They can be used during breaks, spares or lunch.
