Take Our Kids to Work Day November 5
Wednesday, November 5 is Take Our Kids to Work Day for grade 9 students.
Take Our Kids to Work™ day is a national program, now in its 31st edition, that provides students with the opportunity to shadow a parent, guardian, or family friend at their workplace for a day. The theme for 2025 is "Lift Up the Future".
Grade 9 students can select one of the following options:
- Experience a variety of job and career options with a parent/guardian or family friend.
- Engage with resources and activities from The Students Commission of Canada (SCC).
The Students Commission of Canada is developing a bank of resources, including guides, activities, and videos, which will be launched closer to the date to support students, families, and educators.
Field Trip Permission forms will be available shortly for students who will be participating in Take Our Kids to Work™ on November 5.
