Intermediate Music Program

The Earl of March Intermediate Music Program offers many opportunities for grade 7 and 8 students to not only learn to play an instrument, but also enjoy the experience of performing with various award winning bands and ensembles.

EOM students participate in two 40 minute classes of instrumental music in a 5-day cycle where they learn the basics of playing an instrument.

Earl of March also offers students the opportunity to perform with a Junior and Senior concert band, 2 jazz ensembles and various small ensembles. Under the direction of Kerry Steiner and Katharine Hardiman, these bands have participated in various school concerts, regional/national competitions and field trips to further enhance their musical abilities.

Incoming Gr. 6 students and parents, please see this Gr. 6 Instrumental Music Registration and Process, and reach out to [email protected] if you have any additional questions.  Students will receive information regarding their instruments by the end of June.
