Transition Resource Fair
The OCDSB is holding a resource fair for youth with disabilities who are transitioning to the world of work. Join us on Thursday, May 2 from 5:30-8:00pm at the Confederation Education Centre. This event will support students in understanding their rights, how to advocate for themselves, and what services can help them achieve their full potential in the workplace.

The Earl of March School Council invites you to join Dr. Kim Hellemans of Carleton University for a presentation on Building Academic Resilience to Support Student Mental Health. Commencement Ceremony 2024
Earl of March is pleased to announce that our Commencement Ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 27. Due to our large graduating class, we will once again be holding two ceremonies, one at 10:00 am and one at 1:00 pm. There will be time between the two ceremonies for grads to take photos together. We look forward to celebrating the achievements of the Class of 2024!

Introducing SafeArrival - New Student Absence Management System
SafeArrival is a system for managing student absences. Families can report absences in advance using a mobile app, website, or toll-free phone line. These options are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. SafeArrival is now available for all grades at Earl of March.

Homework Support
Free academic support! The Continuing Education Department offers free after school literacy and numeracy support programs for OCDSB students in grades 7-12. The program runs Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays from 3:30-7:30 or 4:00-8:00pm. at various locations in Ottawa.

Daily Snack Program
Earl of March offers a daily snack program funded through the Ottawa Network for Education (ONFE). Grades 7-12 students in need have the option to receive a free nutritious snack once a day. No sign up is required. Grade 7 and Grade 8 students can pick up their snacks in Room 228. Grade 9 - 12 students can pick up their snacks in Room 259 (SST Room).

Chromebook Request Form
Secondary students are strongly encouraged to bring a Chromebook/laptop to school with them each day. The school has a limited number of Chromebooks available to lend out for the year for those who do not have their own. To request a chromebook, parents/guardians must complete the Chromebook Request Form by Tuesday, Sept 5.
